Provocative and timely data on what will be a razor thin series of margins in the competitive 42nd LD:

  • 45 'blue' precincts with a ratio between 0, .449
  • 56 'red' precincts with a ratio between .56, 1

  • Democrat = Selected Democrat preferred party in Presidential Primary

Active preferred party voters information for 40th and 42nd parts of Whatcom County below. More Democrats as a whole voted in March 2020 Presidential Primary presumably because there were more Democrate candidates. The voters that selected "NEI" or "BOT" were not counted or attributed to any party. Note that this is the September 2020 currently active Presidential Primary voters plus others. The 40th LD is a three county (WM, SJ, SK) LD.  The 42nd LD is encapsulated inside Whatcom County only.
